PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain efficient data pipeline architecture.Construct large, intricate data sets meeting functional and non-functional business requirements.Identify, design, and implement process improvements, automating manual processes and enhancing scalability.Establish infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data using SQL and AWS big data technologies.Build analytics tools leveraging the data pipeline to provide actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.Ensure secure data separation across national boundaries and multiple data centers.Create data tools for analytics and data scientist teams to optimize product innovation.Work with data and analytics experts to enhance functionality in data systems.Troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and provide scalable, defect-free solutions.Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams for pipeline optimization and defect-free code production.Comply with company policies and practices related to the System Development Life Cycle. Provide Tier 3 support for escalated IT issues. Support audit and compliance reporting requests.Operate MarkLogic and Snowflake products on a 24/7 basis as needed.Support production environment during emergencies.Participate in a 24x7 weekly rotation for on-call support of Informatica.Perform other assigned or apparent job-related duties.

Required Skills : MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years of experience in a Data Engineer role with a bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field. 1 year of experience in AWS and DevOps Practices. 2 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and ETL architecture. 2 years of combined experience with database technologies (RDBMS and NoSQL) and working on large data initiatives (?5 terabytes). 1 year of experience with JavaScript. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases. Experience in building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets. Root cause analysis experience on internal and external data/processes. Expertise in OO Javascript, XHTML, CSS, XML, Ajax, and one or more JavaScript libraries (e.g., Prototype, JQuery). Experience with web services (e.g., RESTful services) and programmatically interacting with data formats (XML, JSON, RDF). Writing software for complex web-based business applications.
