Position Purpose:
Operates Forklift on 12hr Shift
Schedule:
12 hour shift 7PM - 7:15 AM, rotating 2-2-3, 3-2-2, every other weekend
Plus $.65 Night Shift Premium!
Principle AccountabilitiesMove raw materials to the production lines or proper storage areas, as requiredStage finished product per instructions or move to warehouse storage areaTrack and sort inventoryEnsures the accuracy of incoming and outgoing materialsOrganize assigned work areas, using lift truck or hand balm, as indicatedTroubleshoot part issuesObserve safe working practicesMaintain work area in a clean and orderly mannerComplete required paperworkKeep warehouse clean and neatRelieve in production as assigned and trainedOther assigned duties, as requiredEssential Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.2+ Years in a Manufacturing environment / general labor experience preferred.Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time requiredAbility to work in space limited work area on continuous basis.Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basisGeneral computer knowledge and experience handling paperworkEffective interpersonal skillsAbility to perform the physical aspects of the role following recommended practices, with an emphasis on safety and injury preventionInventory experience preferred
