We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team at Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City, OK.

Purpose for the Position

:

To ensure financial compliance by overseeing and actioning all policies and procedures in accordance with the company's guidelines.

Requirements:

Smile and always provide friendly and professional service, with genuine care and attention to detail.Exercise a sense of urgency for requests and/or concerns.Checks figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.Organizes, secures, and maintains all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.Records, stores, accesses, and/or analyzes computerized financial information.Classifies, codes, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.Prepares, maintains, audits, and distributes statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.Enters daily reporting information.Completes period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.Prepares, reviews, reconciles, and issues bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.Follows-up to resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved.Prepares daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash handling employees.Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon allCash Variances.Prepares, maintains, and administers all cashier banks and contracts.Be knowledgeable in all the company's financial processes, such as the chart of accounts, accounts receivable and payables, and end of month procedures.Contribute to the hotel's overall profitability by attention to detail and identifying cost saving and revenue enhancement opportunities.Uphold operational structure using the company's financial guidelines and best practices.Perform periodic internal audits to ensure accuracy of reporting and data.Produce any financial reporting required by management and/or ownership.Monitor and ensure the property is compliant with all local, state and federal tax requirements.Assist management teams with all relative administrative duties as necessary.Maintain a clean and organized work environment. This includes, but is not limited to files, correspondences and other miscellaneous records.Perform miscellaneous clerical work such as answering phones, making copies, faxing, emailing, etc.Coordinate details between departments as needed with care and attention to detail.Help team members as needed to encourage a team atmosphere.Take pride in your role in order to embody an exceptional guest service atmosphere.Other duties as assigned by management.To do this kind of work, you must be able to:

Understand and maneuver detailed financial reporting and systems.Use logical thinking and personal judgment to perform a variety of tasks.Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.Follow written and/or verbal instructions without supervision.Speak and write clearly and accurately.Be available for work during days, evenings, weekends and holidays.Physical Demands:

Lifting 30 lbs. maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and small tools. Walking, standing, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing are required.

Environmental Conditions: Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. A job is considered "inside" if the worker spends approximately 75% or more of the time inside.
