JOB SUMMARY:A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks; ensuring thatthe load is correct and secure for transport.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, and Loading requirementsPackaging cabinets while moving down the assembly line and using strapping machine tosecure box for loadingUse scanning system to ensure correct components are assembledAccurately interpret production labels and scan cabinets and partsOccasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loadingMaintain a safe work environment, including housekeepingOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow all handling, staging, and loading (HSL) requirementsAbility to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variancesAbility to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measureRequired Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D.Required Physical Ability:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of timeFrequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushingRegularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbBenefits of working for American Woodmark include:
