As a Courier, you will:Safety Compliance:
Operate vehicles in strict adherence to HSSE policies and procedures.Vehicle Inspections:
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues immediately.Cargo Security:
Ensure freight is properly secured in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.Driving Operations:
Safely operate sub-CDL vehicles in different environments to deliver customer freight.Warehouse Pickup:
Collect orders from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery.Task Prioritization:
Complete day-to-day activities based on customer needs and urgency.Dock Assistance:
Assist on the dock and with two-person deliveries when required.Housekeeping:
Maintain clean and organized workspaces, ensuring proper care of materials.Event Recorder Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain rear-facing event recorders.Tablet Management:
Update tablet records based on delivery and pickup orders.Dispatcher Communication:
Maintain communication with the terminal dispatcher and warehouse to receive delivery instructions.Log Maintenance:
Accurately maintain courier stop-logs and jockey sheets.Customer Interaction:
Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally.Roadside Repairs:
Perform basic emergency roadside repairs when necessary.Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
•21 years of age
•Valid Class D driver's license
•Valid Medical Card or ability to obtain a valid Medical Card
•One to two years of driving experience as a Courier preferred
•Previous material handling, HAZMAT, and forklift experience preferred
