Job Description
This position involves providing exceptional customer service by assisting guests at the front counter, over the phone, and through remote services regarding FAFSA, Dream Act and state and federal grants. Responsibilities include collaborating with office staff to participate in outreach events that promote financial aid while ensuring the confidentiality of all information received and communicated in the office.
Schedule Availability: Office HoursMonday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM or 9-6pm-is required.

Special Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 12 units of college education.
Proficient in various computer applications.
Ability to sort and file alphabetically.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written; strong writing abilities.
Ability to multitask and managing various duties efficiently.
Commitment to diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how their experience with these factors relates to successfully achieving the goals of the position.
