About the Role:

The role of the Sr. Network Engineer is to act as a subject matter expert for multiple diverse and complex Infrastructure Technologies including defining technology implementation roadmaps that detail the implementation of initiatives to enhance a secured scalable network and Infrastructure environment as well as developing plans for the ongoing support and governance of previously implemented initiatives. Leads projects with moderate to large resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

Additionally, this position will be responsible for all network and related technologies and solutions including but not limited to switching, routing, VPN, firewalls, SDWAN, DIA/MPLS VoIP, and collaboration platforms, load balancing at corporate campus locations as well as field offices throughout North America.

Responsibilities:Develop meaningful metrics that measure the effectiveness of network delivery and identify and implement improvements.Assemble key players on the project team and facilitate internal working relationships across the enterprise, building loyalty, and trust. Delegate project responsibilities and task interfaces, direct, motivate and manage the project work and resources involved with the project. Identify ambiguous responsibilities and manage conflicts to an early resolution and escalation of any unresolved issues.Raise the maturity level of the Network Operations organization by mentoring, guiding, and driving continuous improvement.Champion adoption and drive continuous improvement of network engineer and operations.Lead team members in achieving desired outcomes of deliverablesAnalyze multiple types and sources of information to generate insight on effort performance.Solve implementation challenges while encouraging adherence to architectural standards.Analyze industry and market trends and determine their potential benefit to the enterprise.Collaborate with business partners, software engineers, technology, and operations leadership to advance business outcomes and architectural concerns.Collaborate and manage third-party vendors and managed services to develop and implement network technology enabled roadmaps.Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software/hardware product standards, as well as the design of standards and practicesOther duties as assignedLet's Talk About Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology or related major, or equivalent experience.Related industry certifications highly preferred (CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, Data Center, etc.)Palo Alto FW, PAN, or SD-WAN certifications are a plusExpert level knowledge of routing and switching technologies including but not limited to: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and MPLS.Expert level knowledge of switching and routing products including: Cisco NX OS, Cisco CAT OS, and Cisco IOS software.Expert level knowledge of security products including Palo Alto FW, Fortinet FW, and Cisco ASA.Solid knowledge of all components of related technical architectures.Experience with SD-WAN technology especially Palo Alto Prisma.Experience in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex networking.Established Leadership skillsExcellent judgment and decisions making skillsAbility to effectively communicate and explain technically complex concepts to non-technical project team members.Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsPlanning and organizingExcellent Influence and Communication skills, including navigating difficult conversations with stakeholders & staffEvaluates risks and issues and assesses possible outcomes to determine a solution in a timely mannerAbility to remain calm in high-stress situationsExcellent executive presenceAbility to navigate and lead through difficult stakeholder situationsLeadership Attributes:
