Investment Operations Analyst - Private Credit

Purpose and Job Summary
The Investment Operations Analyst - Private Credit supports the ORIX USA growing portfolio of private credit investments and serves as a primary point of contact between ORIX USA and the borrowers and agent banks. The Investment Operations Analyst - Private Credit is responsible for all operational aspects of accurately and timely maintenance of the books and records for the portfolio of private credit investments including loan administration, daily activity processing and reconciliation.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork with internal and external contacts to gather and organize the documentation governing the terms of the loan investments.Accurately enter loan terms and participation and assignment allocations in the settlement processing and portfolio accounting systems per the executed agreements.Where ORIX USA is loan administrative agent, prepare and distribute periodic agent notices and statements for rate reset, interest and fee receipt, paydown, facility increase, etc. within the portfolio accounting systems.Monitor periodic agent notices and statements for rate reset, interest and fee receipt, paydown, facility increase, etc. and update the portfolio accounting system accordingly.Reconcile daily cash activity between the bank and portfolio accounting system, including daily cash break clearing.Maintain direct communication with various internal departments to coordinate closing, settlement, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and maintain compliance with policy.Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers.Other projects and duties as assigned.Contacts
This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role has frequent interaction with borrowers, investors, bankers, counterparties, outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.
Education, Skills and Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in finance or accounting from an accredited four-year university.1-2 years of back office investment operations experience either in a custodial, trustee, broker-dealer, insurance, loan administration, or asset management related capacity or 5+ years of experience without a bachelor's degree.An excellent customer service attitude.Working knowledge and understanding of investment back office processing including closing and settlement, loan collections and allocations, and valuation adjustment.Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines; Ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities.Professional business image and excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing (spelling, grammar, and punctuation).Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team.Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment.Preferred:
Strong working knowledge of Wall Street Office Administrator (WSO), Allvue Everest, and Bloomberg Terminal preferred.
