About the position:
Core Focus is looking for qualified/certified Stand-Up Forklift Operators to work for a production supplier for the Mercedes Benz plant in the Vance and Cottondale areas.
Hourly pay rate is $18.00/ hour.
Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator:Safe and effective operation of a forklift in all areas including shipping and receiving, sort line and inventorying materials.Comply with all company policies and government safety procedures and regulations.Complete the necessary paperwork related to shipping and receiving, production, etc.Maintain production standards and achieve established production goals.Follow the preventative maintenance program for all equipment including completing all supporting documentation.Perform other duties as assigned in response to changing operating conditions and plant priorities.Requirements of a Forklift Operator:
High School or GED (preferred)Certified Forklift Operator2 years of Stand Up Forklift experience requiredPrevious verifiable forklift experience in a distribution settingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basisMust have valid Drivers LicensePass all required employment screening, drug testing and criminal record check
