Summary:

As the Route Delivery Driver, you will service customers by thoroughly understanding and providing accurate product and pricing information, taking orders, and ensuring product is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for growing and building sales with both new and existing accounts, and providing premier service to each customer, every delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand the process of picking and packing ordersKnowledge of and adherence to all company, state and federal rules, regulations, policies and proceduresEnsure goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order communicate needed changes to supervisor/router/managerEnsure the load is properly secured at all timesVerify order to ensure correct products loaded, and deliveredDeliver orders to customers as routed/scheduled. Communicate any needed routing changes to supervisor/router/managerResponsible for handling merchandise in a safe and efficient mannerUnload products from delivery truck and place product as the customer directsProvide efficient, accurate and productive service to the customer at all timesEnsure all necessary delivery paperwork is completed accurately and in full. Complete credit/debit documentation accuratelyReturn all shipping documents, return product and credit documentation to designated area on completion of deliveriesMaintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to managerResponsible for maintaining the integrity of the company-customer relationship as it applies to the scope of the job function.Work in tandem with assigned route/territory sales rep(s) in developing strategy for increased salesDevelop new customers through personal sales callsGenerate own leads, as well as excellent follow-up on company furnished accountInitiate and control sales processes with new clientsProvide guidance, assistance and service to customersSell products at maximum profit margin with consideration given to current market pressuresUtilize negotiation skills and apply established company pricing standardsCreate, maintain and execute a successful territory sales planAttend and actively participate in all sales meetingsCommunicate and support administrative personnel in keeping customers within credit termsUnderstand and positively communicate all company policies and proceduresMonitor sales volumes, distribution margins and related measurements (plan vs. actual)Report variances with corrective actions to the Sales Manager /Supervisor once per periodUtilize order and pricing guides; prepare quotesSupport daily push and extra value itemsMaintain working knowledge of company product lines and services to enhance sales efforts and increase sales volumes with both existing and new customers.Identify opportunities for line-item growth and communicate to sales reps. This will include information on competitive activity, distribution of Point of Sale (POS) material as requiredAddress and/or communicate customer issues and requests in a timely manner to the appropriate individuals to facilitate resolutionPerform all other duties, as may be assignedWhat You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required

High school diploma or GED.A minimum of one year of related experience in delivery and sales of perishable food products.Preferred

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Valid driver's license.Salary Range:

$21 - 23 Hourly
