PURPOSE OF POSITIONReporting to the Infrastructure Security and Datacenter Platform Owner, Corporate Senior Infrastructure Engineer is a Business Technology member who's focus will be to implement methods and procedures to optimize and strategically leverage core infrastructure components of Azure, Active Directory, and EntraID along with on premise resources or other means as necessary.5-7+ years experience with Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies in an engineering capacity, including design of infrastructure and integration into new and existing systems.7-10 years minimum experience with Enterprise IT, systems, networks, and system administration. This should include virtualization and hyper-converged solutions like VMware and Nutanix.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, Install, configure, manage Active Directory (AD), including both on prem and EntraIDEstablishes standards, policies & guidelines for Active Directory in direct collaboration with the business, information security, and technology teams.Develop, Configure, and support solutions that meet business needs and align with technology standards.Helps promote a consistent vision and strategy throughout the organization.Mentor members of the infrastructure team on architectural, engineering, and operational best practices related to EntraID/ADProvides escalated support for Business-Critical issues.Develop and enhance enterprise engineering standards for a multi-site organization, including operating system and authentication protocols.Diagnose Windows Server platform in issues in complex, business critical environments.Provide Tier 3 support for Directory Services to include Certificate Services, ADFS, LDAP, Kerberos, and other authentication methods.Design and architect new systems and enhancements to existing infrastructure.Contribute overall expertise and knowledge of enterprise IT systems and their integrations.Interact with other Platform Team managers and members to deliver security centric solutions.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college in computer science or related fieldExperience in Active Directory and Windows system administration, with a focus on private cloud and public cloud platformsExperience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, and cloud infrastructure.REQUIRED SKILLS:Active Directory Design and Migration experience at an enterprise level (multiple forests and domains, trust relationships)Experience with Automation and scripting, including PowerShellConditional access implementation and support knowledgeExperience with EntraID and Azure AD Connect as it relates to Office 365 and Azure.In depth knowledge of Active Directory and Windows ServersExperience with EntraID, ADFS, M365 Integration, Multi-factor Authentication, Windows Server, PKI, SAML, SCIM, Oauth, LDAP, and KerberosExhibits a wide breath of technical, operational and team leadership skills; excellent command and control; develops strong talent through good situational management skills; possesses a passion for excellenceExperience engineering, building, and supporting a global Active Directory environmentHave a holistic understanding of IT infrastructure inclusive of server, storage, network, virtualization, database, DR/business recovery and continuity practices, etc.Understanding of public cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers (AWS, Azure)Ability to demonstrate expertise driving operational improvement and excellence with a proven ability to influence and interact effectively with peers and IT leaders.Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and server architecture diagrams.
