The SeniorNetwork Engineer will support the Department of Management (DOM) and Divisionof Information Technology (DOIT) by managing and optimizing the organization'senterprise networking environment. This senior-level role is critical inmaintaining secure communications, network monitoring, and offering bothconsulting and architecture services for network infrastructure. The positioninvolves operational support for routers, switches, and firewalls, along withassessing and improving network infrastructure across various executive branchagencies.

KeyResponsibilities
Operational Support : Manage routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure security, performance, capacity, and availability of services.Network Configuration and Maintenance : Configure and maintain secure network infrastructure in accordance with security standards and best practices.Network Architecture : Provide network architecture support, including infrastructure assessments, creation of logical and conceptual network diagrams, monitoring, analysis, problem resolution, and changes.Network Security : Manage networks and systems to prevent unauthorized access while ensuring efficient transmission. Perform log management and monitoring.Firewall Management : Plan, schedule, and implement access through firewalls in line with security standards and best practices.Incident/Change Management : Adhere to defined incident/change management processes.Collaboration : Communicate regularly with other technical teams and business owners.Customer Support : Work with customers to develop testing and implementation schedules as needed.Documentation : Maintain and update technical documentation of the environment.RequiredSkills and Experience
