Role As a Maintenance Shop Machinist with a CNC designation (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Operator), you'll be responsible for the set-up and operation of numeric control/CNC machines and machining centers. You'll perform diversified production work while inspecting to ensure that tolerances and specifications are maintained. Your duties will include machine set-up, operation of various NC/CNC machines, tool change, part inspection, and routine equipment maintenance. Benefits Competitive salary. Qualifications 2 years' experience in a manufacturing position preferred. Machining Technology certification from a trade/vocational school or equivalent. High School Diploma/GED or international equivalent. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings/sketches. Basic understanding of Geometric tolerancing and basic machine shop practices. Ability to use micrometers and other precision measuring gages and equipment.
