Centralized data, readily accessible support, and collaboration between the laboratory and ordering provider reduce the time to a patient's diagnosis and treatment.A caregiver in this position works Days, from 10:00am"6:30pm.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Accession and manually process laboratory specimens.Receive and accession specimens into the LIS and prepare specimens for analysis.Perform manual processing (centrifuge, aliquoting and routine maintenance).Assume compliance with basic regulations (temperature monitoring).Perform quality assurance activities (pending log audit).Retrieve, sort, track, verify and deliver specimens.Use tracking software/devices and maintain and communicate ply with safety SOP & regulations.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:High school diploma or GED.One year of lab experience.Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Associate's degree in science.
