Quality Inspector

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a 3rd Shift Quality Inspector to join a leading Company located in the Rochester, NY surrounding area.Salary Range: $38,854.40 - $50.939.20Responsibilities: Works from drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions using an assortment of measuring tools, fixtures, and equipment such as CMMs, Smart-Scopes, micrometers, verniers, gauge pins, height gauges, etcExecutes CMM / Smart Scope programs after fixturing partsPerforms material moisture checksPerforms visual and dimensional checks of the first piece, in-process, and/or finished productsWorks with designated Team Members to understand part quality deviations when necessaryCommunicates visual and dimensional nonconformances with Operations in a timely mannerIdentification and Containment of Non-Conforming ProductPrepares and completes required reports and departmental formsMaintains records either manually or electronicallyBasic Hiring Criteria:Minimum 2 years of on-the-job inspection experience to acquire familiarity with methods, procedures, tools, and equipment and to perform the work proficiently - preferredMust have good decision-making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsMust be self-motivatedCMM/PC-DMIS/SmartScope experience a plusBenefits offered to vary by the contract.
