Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in the ServiceNow ITOM product, specifically Discovery and CMDB. The role requires experience in configuring and managing discovery probes, patterns, and MID Servers for integrations, as well as a solid understanding of IT infrastructure components like servers, networks, and storage systems. The ideal candidate will also have a background in working with protocols like SNMP, SSH, WMI, and APIs, along with ServiceNow platform expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
•Configure and manage ServiceNow ITOM products, particularly Discovery and CMDB.
•Configure and troubleshoot discovery probes, patterns, and credentials.
•Set up and maintain MID Servers for Discovery and CMDB integrations.
•Work with discovery protocols such as SNMP, SSH, WMI, Powershell, HTTP/HTTPS, IPMI, Rest API, SOAP.
•Understand network topology, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting), and IT infrastructure components (servers, storage, network devices, load balancers, firewalls).
•Collaborate with IT teams to ensure accurate data within the CMDB and improve overall platform performance.
•Perform platform upgrades and manage system customizations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
•3-5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically within the ITOM product suite (Discovery and CMDB).
•Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities.
•Experience configuring discovery probes, patterns, and MID Servers for Discovery/CMDB.
•Solid understanding of discovery protocols (SNMP, SSH, WMI, Powershell, Rest API, SOAP).
•In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
•Certified ServiceNow Administrator.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for ITOM/Discovery.
•Certified ServiceNow Developer.
•ITIL Certification.
