Java Developers
to support a secure flight program for TSA in
Colorado Springs, CO
or
Annapolis Junction, MD . The team is seeking software developers proficient with full stack java programming to help build and maintain a critical 'no-fly' list application for TSA.
Location:
Colorado Springs, CO OR Annapolis Junction, MD - on-site 1x a week
Hours:
Standard operating hours, 8-4
Clearance:
Secret clearance, must be able to pass TSA background check (3-6 weeks)
Responsibilities of the Java Developer:•Build web and backend applications services for credentialing case management system•Use Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment•Develop and implement software using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java•Work collaboratively amongst team in SAFe Agile delivery framework
Qualifications of the Java Developer:•Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience working as a software developer in an Agile environment•Active secret clearance, ability to obtain TSA Public Trust•2+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications•1+ years experience using Java development tools (JUint, Git)•Experience with software solutions such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
Compensation of the Java Developer:•Compensation: $90,000-$120,000+ - based on years of experience•Long-term stable contract through Zachary Piper Solutions supporting AFS TSA Secure Flight•Full benefits through ZPS: PTO/Holiday, Medical, Dental, Vision, Certification reimbursement•Hybrid work - 1x a week on site, 4x a week remote•Job stability and contract mobility through Zachary Piper Solutions
