We continue to grow at a record pace and offer this exciting career opportunity to join our team where we are focused on attracting and engaging exceptional talent, empowering colleagues to achieve fulfilling careers, and creating fun and engaging products that are second to none for our customers.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for developing and executing tests on new and existing products to ensure that they meet the requisite functional, technical, and regulatory compliance and maintain high overall product quality. From hand-held tablet devices to Las Vegas style gaming cabinets, our array of products is diverse and advanced. Interface with Game/System Development and other Product Development staff to resolve issues in a timely manner. Also responsible for having proficient understanding of the software test methodologies and procedures in order to ensure testing efficiency and high level of quality. Will participate in mentoring Associate SQA Engineers. Organize and lead inter-departmental project meetings.Essential Job Functions Develop, hold reviews, and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and systemsFollow all the SQA Work Instructions dailySubmit and track any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolvedLead software defect scrub meetings and SQA Milestone hand-off meetings with DevelopmentUtilize all required databases for SQA functions and testingProvide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned projectProvide detailed Completion Report at the end of each projectParticipate and provide input during root cause analysis phaseInterface with other members of Product Development to effectively communicate and resolve all reported issues in a timely manner before the gaming product is releasedProficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycleReproduce issues, when necessary, in order to assist software development in resolving issuesResponsible for project escalations for each assigned projectOther Duties and Responsibilities:Assist the SQA Department on special projectsIntroduce process improvement initiativesEstablish key contacts with upstream organizations that have a direct impact on SQAMentor new Associate SQA Engineers on assigned projectsQualifications:Academic and/or working knowledge of Visual StudioAcademic and/or work experience with C and/or C++Academic and/or proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookBasic knowledge of the gaming industry RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred Required Experience:3 - 5 years of relevant SQA work experience Gaming and/or casino experience required.
