JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: WASHINGTON, DC
Our client, an innovative, dynamic, multifaceted strategic communications and digital agency in Washington, DC is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant. This role supports the Controller and CFO. The successful candidate will be a sharp self-starter who can work independently. A go-getter who can problem solve and create their own accountability will thrive in this position.
Please note that this is a six-week contract position and is a hybrid role. Three days per week in the office is required. Our clients office is located near the Farragut metro station in Washington, DC.
Requirements:
BS in Accounting with 2-3 years of experience processing 150+ Full Cycle Accounts Payable Invoices and Credit Card Transactions weeklyExperience with Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Treasury Functions and General Ledger ReconciliationsProven ability to multi-task, and work in a team atmosphere is reuredAbility to support month-end close.Experience with Intercompany Accounting is preferredExposure to ERP System Implementation is a plusAbility to create systems and process improvements and efficiencies is a bonusExpertise with Microsoft Excel
