We follow the LTSUSA curriculum and are rapidly growing!This role will pay an hourly rate between $20 to $25.For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until November 1, 2024Responsibilities:Teaching Tot through advanced level classes following LTS-USA curriculum
Encourage students to practice the skills they are learning outside of classMay have to lift small children who can't stand up on their ownActively recruitn and promote our program and specialty classes to potential new skatersHave a welcoming and encouraging attitude with the skaters and parentsWork with other coaches and coordinator to better our classes and programsPotentially assisting with off-ice education and tying skatesAccurately and thoroughly evaluate students and the end of the session - completing report cards and certificatesAttend coaches meetings and/or trainingsEnforce on and off-ice rulesQualifications:
Have or obtain a Learn to Skate USA professional membershipHave or obtain a Safesport Certification5+ years of figure skating experience, ISI Freestyle 4, or USFS Juvenile Free SkatePrevious coaching experience is a plus, but not requiredPositive attitude with willingness to learnGreat at working in a team environmentISI membership and synchro experience are a plus, but not requiredAlso seeking Jr level coaches who would like to learn the joys of coaching
