What You'll DoAnalyze and process project start up requests which may include fielding questions and making recommendations for optimal project setup and structureEstablish and maintain open communication about project finance with Project Managers and teamCollaborate with Project Managers to process monthly project billing, revenue recognition, and reportingAnalyze project financial health, variance, and root cause, and communicate analysis to Project ManagementCompile and analyze special reporting as requestedAnswer questions and communicate complex project financial topics with stakeholdersBecome subject matter expert on project financial conceptsMake suggestions on process improvements and provide documentation and assistance with implementation of changesReview and confirm contract billing terms, fees, and other accounting related issues to support the contract review processProvide uniform recording and reporting on project related expensesSupport Project Managers with sub consultant invoice review, approval, and processingSubmit invoices to clients via multiple delivery methods and retain organized supplemental documentationCollaborate with clients and Project Managers to resolve billing issues in a timely manner and with a customer service approachProcess invoice revisions and provide supporting documents to assist in timely collection of receivablesCoordinate project closures and reconcile balancesEstablish, maintain, and organize project financial files.
What You BringBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in Project Finance in Engineering or Architecture fieldsMinimum 2 years of experience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferredDetail-orientedAbility to expertly manage time efficiently with competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to relate and present to all levels of stakeholders, individually and in groupsPossess advanced Excel skillsProficiency with other Microsoft software and systems including Word, Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePointExperience with project management conceptsAble to work equally well independently and as part of a teamHigh level of problem-solving ability and ability to exercise critical thinking skills in a dynamic environment
What We OfferHiring Base Salary Range: $68,000- $91,000 annual
This position is eligible for time and a half overtime pay
The base salary is one component of PAE's competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
