As the P-TPM for Ad Tech, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing mechanisms that ship features successfully. This includes working with product management, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and other teams to plan what their contributions to features will be, tracking progress of those, and identifying how to streamline all of the above.The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, can synthesize customer needs into new policy, standards, and technology solutions to meet business objectives. The candidate will build and lead with a bias towards problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and the foresight to anticipate business needs, make trade-offs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints.The right candidate has a strong record of delivering results timely and effectively. You should have experience managing complex global programs in large, multi-national, preferably tech organizations. The ideal candidate has broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, sales strategy experience, and a background in digital advertising. Strong judgement, ability to manage through ambiguity and complexity as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority are key to success.Preference for this position to be in one of the following locations: Toronto ON or Boulder CO.Key Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations to develop and deploy a comprehensive program portfolio strategy, aimed at shortening the planning cycle and paving the way for continuous iteration and improvement of programs.Lead team functioning as primary interface and communication hub for Strategic Sales Initiatives (strategy, operating model and areas of improvement).Identify and explore opportunities to use automation, machine learning and other technologies to improve the creation and implementation of go to market models.Lead the development, implementation and execution of process improvement initiatives, including identification of business process gaps, impact assessment, and recommendations.Represent business needs in the development of technical roadmaps, priorities and requirements, ensuring support of business need in the near and long term.Lead cross functional initiatives to identify technology dependencies and handoffs, and partner with technology teams to ensure seamless flow of data and functionality need to support the process end to end.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience7+ years of technical product or program management experience5+ years of software development experienceExperience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systemsExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
