Our cutting-edge technology, customer service, unique partnerships, and flexible terms makes us the most dealer friendly inventory financing provider in the United States.What’s the role?This position will be responsible to oversee all sales activities and account development within the assigned region. The ideal candidate has to manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.What you’ll do as our Area Manager?Build and maintain relationships with customers, increasing their use of the line of credit, identifying and mitigating account risk and collections pre and post default.Grow the portfolio by collecting new dealer applications, including timely follow up on new leads and referrals.Achieve goals and performance targets as set by the company through daily production and activities with calls and visits to customers.Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and maximize profitability through prudent account management, controlled growth and risk mitigation.Educate customers on desired account and audit performance, self-service options, and best practices and coach them to ensure compliance with company policies and expectations.Collect and analyze customer financial information and various internal reports to assess dealer performance and address with the dealer as appropriate.Support the Risk department with post and pre-default risk mitigation.Document notes and all activities and client interactions through various company CRSs as required by the company.Create synergies throughout all Hankey Group companies.Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualities we look for in our Area ManagerKnowledge of the automotive industry (various sectors)Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminologyStrong presentation, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients and collaborate with internal team membersStrong time management skills with ability to manage deadlinesStrong negotiation and collection skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a remote environmentProficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TeamsBA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account management and/or collections requiredTravel: Greater than 25% with some overnight travel requiredValid driver’s license required for this positionPay Rate:Base pay of $50,000 per yearGuaranteed Bonus Income $2,000 a month for 4 months (month 1 is prorated), $1,500 month 5 & 6, $1,000 month 7.Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program average of $450 monthlyNo limit on commissionsWhat benefits do we offer?Medical, Dental, and Vision benefitsLife Insurance and Long-term disability plansFlexible Spending Account401K matchingEmployee Stock Ownership Program in a $18.2 Billion Company, plus company matchingWellness ProgramsPaid Vacations DaysPaid Sick daysPaid holidaysAcknowledgmentWe will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.We are an equal opportunity employer and do not unlawfully discriminate in employment.
