Financial Reporting Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or actively taking the exam/planning to pursue.
- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting - an audit background or experience working at a publicly traded company is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Experience with financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Financial Reporting Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other financial reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Accounting, Treasury, and Tax, to gather information for financial reporting.
- Provide insights into technical accounting issues and new accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
