Our client, Metal and Composite Company is seeking a 1st shift MIG/TIG Welder to join their team. As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be part of the Manufacturing Team supporting production. The ideal candidate will have precision, good dexterity, safety minded which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: 1st shift MIG/TIG Welder Location: Germantown, WI Pay Range: $19-$26/hr. What's the Job? Set-up, lay-out, tack-up and weld sheet metal in constructing customer parts and components Tack and/or weld metal parts together using MIG and/or TIG welding Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed product Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material Capable of porosity-free TIG welding and MIG welding What's Needed? 2+ years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience High School diploma or GED required Ability to set-up jobs from prints Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent attendance Positive, "can do" attitude A certificate from college or technical school is a plus Robot welding experience is a plus What's in it for me?
