Job Responsibilities Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of staff. Diagnoses, treats, prevents and controls disorders of the teeth and mouth including gums and related oral structures. May treat diseases of nerve, pulp and other dental tissues affecting vitality of teeth.Perform hygiene exams Performs dental exams Take x-rays Apply fluoride and/or sealants Perform prophies, restorations and extractionsPrescribe medications for dental problemsKeep records relating to health and treatment of patientsWork within an equal partnering team and may instruct dental and non-dental staffExperience with Pediatric dentistryWillingness to travel (potential reimbursement)Other duties as assigned by supervisorPreferences:Familiarity with Medicaid & Chips ProgramComfortable with pediatric practices Minimum Qualifications Doctorate or professional degree in dentistry from an accredited college or university AND Three years of experience AND current Georgia license to practice dentistry.
