Responsibilities:Job Duties & Responsibilities:This R.N. position will work with our Mohs Surgeons and other providers assisting during surgery, as well as, in the clinic for post-surgical follow up appointments.Escort patients to the procedure room. Assist patients as needed with walking, preparing for exam, etcComplete pre-operative intake via one-on-one interview, explain surgical procedures, and answer any questions within your scopePrepare procedure rooms and surgical trays with all supplies needed for proceduresOrganize patient flow according to protocolPrepare syringes according to protocolDrape and disinfect surgical site, administer local anesthesia, and use a handheld cautery device to achieve hemostasisPrepare paperwork for patients current visit and ensure complete and accurate documentation within the patients electronic medical recordMaintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data in compliance with all company policies and proceduresAssist physician during all procedures, including but not limited to passing instruments, blotting, cutting sutures and bandaging of surgical site.Bandage surgical sites, prepare proper discharge paperwork, review wound care instructions with patient, and answer any questions or concerns they may haveClean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization in an autoclavePrepare pathology and lab specimens. Route to correct lab as required by patients insurance. Maintain accurate pathology log.Remove sutures.Notify patients of pathology and lab results.Respond to patient questions in office and on phone as instructed.Schedule or re-schedule appointments with providers, specialists as necessary. Send appropriate records as necessary.Work in compliance with OSHA, bloodborne pathogen standards.Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA standards.Document and keep current appropriate records for maintenance programs.Maintain medication samples, discard out-of-date supplies, and keep appropriate records.Maintain infection control. Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms, and keep supply cabinets well stocked.Document all medical instructions given to patients.Provide excellent patient care and surgical assistance to clients. Share knowledge and professional advice for services.Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management.Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited RN program.Active RN license1-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing environment preferred.Licensure/Certifications/Education:
