Weekly Pay Range - $2142 To $2380 Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory Care Job Duration: 13-week assignment Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 X 12-hour shifts/week, weekends and holidays as needed Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist license Certifications: BLS - AHA, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy, ability to learn quickly and adapt, strong sense of accountability, exceptional teamwork skills, patient-focused care Job Description: - Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction, including education, treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies.- Assist with intubation and manage ventilator set-up.- Gather necessary information to properly evaluate patient needs, including patient-specific disease education, testing, and consultations with health care professionals.- Develop a rapport and mutual respect with patients/caregivers and team members to foster an optimal environment for achieving goals.- Provide and document education to patients/caregivers in an understandable manner based on identified needs.- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.- Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.- Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.
