Position Clinical Nursing Supervisor Location Beaufort Memorial Hospital Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift Nights Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt DescriptionThe Clinical Nursing Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the coordination of the workflow on the acute patient care units for their assigned shift. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor's work schedule will provide for clinical leadership on the evening shift. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor's time commitment allows 50% or greater clinical oversight to ensure the delivery of quality patient care for all patients on the units through their leadership and clinical expertise. This person is a role model for clinical competence and professional behavior. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor assists the Department Directors and the Administrative Supervisor to ensure the delivery of quality patient care for all patients on the units through their leadership and clinical expertise. They serve as a resource for staff, patients, physicians, and other departments. Through collaboration with all staff assigned to the nursing unit and ancillary departments they ensure effective communications and cooperation. Under the leadership of the Department Director of Nursing Supervision and the Float Pool, the Clinical Nursing Supervisor supports the quality improvement, patient safety & patient satisfaction process. Assists the Department Directors to ensure all processes are executed to comply with regulatory standards. Actively supports the Core Values, Mission & Vision of BMH.Position Requirements Education: Ability to obtain a South Carolina License. BSN required.Experience: Minimum 2 years as RN. Charge nurse experience required.Certifications/Licenses: Holds current South Carolina license. BLS required.
