BHS Corrugated North America is seeking a

highly skilled PLC Programmer/Engineer

to join our team. We need someone who thrives on innovation and complex automation solutions, with extensive experience in controls, PLC programming, and electrical design. You'll be instrumental in supporting cutting-edge projects for the corrugated industry and beyond. This will be a

hybrid

position based out of Charlotte, NC. Some travel required but while you aren't traveling, you will go into our Charlotte location.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute automation projects using ControlLogix 5000, Factory RS Studio, and Siemens S7 for the corrugated industry.Collaborate with industry-leading partners and contribute to distribution, automotive, and manufacturing projects, working with technologies like ControlLogix, Siemens Step 7, and Wonderware.Integrate and program PLC/HMI systems for sophisticated production lines and packaging automation.Troubleshoot and commission industrial systems, including robotics (Fanuc, Kuka) and servo/VFD drives.Oversee the reverse engineering and modernization of legacy PLC systems, transforming them into state-of-the-art solutions.Develop SCADA systems and perform detailed electrical schematics design adhering to UL and NEC standards.Ensure seamless operation and integration for automated machinery, working closely with our engineering and technical teams.Key Technologies You'll Work With:

ControlLogix 5000, Factory RS StudioSiemens S7 (TIA Portal), WinCC, Step 7Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, GE Fanuc, Modicon PLCsSCADA systems (IFIX, Wonderware, RSView SE)Programming for robotics (Kuka, Fanuc, ABB)Electrical design using AutoCAD Electrical, industrial control systems, and panel layoutsYour Experience:

5+ years in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA system design.Deep knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc, and Modicon PLCs.Proven experience in industries like automotive, manufacturing, or water treatment systems.Strong foundation in electrical circuit design, UL certification, and control system integration.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
