Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in public accounting and a solid grasp of financial concepts. This role involves preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review of federal and state corporate, individual, and partnership returns
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and tax basis.
• Assist in the budgeting process, providing insights into financial performance.
• Conduct financial report writing to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Preparation of working trial balance from client data
• Preparation and review of payroll tax returns

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience in public accounting is preferred.
• Excellent financial acumen with strong analytical skills to interpret complex data.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• CPA (Preferred)
