Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a project manager, you will be expected to lead and manage our design-build projects from inception to completion. This role is critical in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, making this role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of design-build projects in the commercial sector.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Manage project risk, including identification, analysis, and response planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize Procore or equivalent project management software for project tracking, communication, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Resolve any project issues or disputes quickly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the design-build construction industry.
  • Proven experience with Procore or equivalent project management software.
  • Strong understanding of the design-build process, including planning, design, and construction phases.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost management, and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve project issues and disputes effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure all project requirements are met to the highest quality standards.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development in project management practices.
