JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are committed to developing new initiatives and managing existing structures for small business lending, with a focus on CRA (Community Reinvestment Act), REC (Racial Equity Commitment), and Fair Lending. Our goal is to emphasize communities that need access to credit, developing strategies to best meet their needs.
As a Small Business Lending Community Impact Lead in Small Business Card, you will work closely with various partner groups from CRA, REC, Fair Lending, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and other teams. You will ensure all stakeholders are aware of current market risks and opportunities while developing initiatives to address any problem points. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to community impact.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop incremental marketing tactics that support targeted areas.
Lead the continuation of the Special Purpose Credit Program and potentially expand it as needed.
Drive initiatives throughout an Agile work environment, ensuring all teams involved understand the goals and structure of different work streams.
Collaborate across various teams, including Risk, Finance, Controls, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Marketing (both business and consumer).
Focus on initiatives related to risk and underwriting capabilities, develop and leverage reporting to track progress, and partner with acquisition marketing teams to ensure goals are met.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Background in data analytics, risk, or marketing: credit card, small business, strategy, or financial-product development experience.
Experience working with analytics, internal reporting, and marketing.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Ability to identify customer/business insights and use those insights to drive change for small business cards, with a focus on underserved communities.
Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategy into financially sound business plans.
Experience leading and influencing large teams of cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, driving business results while demonstrating strong collaboration, relationship, and project management skills.
Customer-obsessed personality, committed to designing experiences and business processes that place the customer first.
Excellent executive-level communication skills and strong leadership/culture-building skills.
