Are you a hungry, successful, and energetic Sales 'hunter' that is motivated by driving revenue and customer relationships?

Skorpios Technologies, Inc., an innovator in heterogeneous integration of silicon photonic technology and semiconductor development, is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and creating new opportunities with existing external customers. Your duties will include developing, identifying, qualifying and closing new business as well as identifying and engaging in new opportunities to expand our customer relationships and markets. You will work closely with other Sales VPs and Senior Leaders to execute our sales/marketing strategy.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Create, develop and maintain current and new Sales pipeline, driving negotiations, timeline and operational output

Articulate/advocate Skorpios’ value proposition aligned with customer requirements

Understand customer requirements and develop trusting customer relationships

Sell the Skorpios story, creating new opportunities that are real, executable and via a timeline that matters

Build long-term business opportunities by forming strategic relationships with customers and partners in the industry

Develop and execute complex sales strategies

Coordinate corporate resources for the sales process

Close sales on schedule

Job Qualifications:

BS in engineering or related technical field required; Graduate Degree preferred

Deep knowledge of semiconductor device fabrication or semiconductor based engineering experience required

Understanding of the semiconductor industry process technology and product development required

5+ years of direct sales experience or customer interfacing technical project management experience required

Experience selling custom semiconductor products, ASICs, or design services

MEMS experience is highly desirable but not mandatory

Knowledge of Skorpios target customer base in data center market and enterprise networking

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience with ITAR sales and compliance is a plus

Available to travel 25 - 50%
