Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Production Support Data Analyst.
Summary:
The Production Support Data Analyst is a hands-on role focused on supporting the data accuracy and completeness of the enterprise data warehouse. The position will work within IT to help the agency in the maintenance of the company s data warehouse that measures performance of all aspects of the company s operations.
Responsibilities:The Production Support Data Analyst works with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze and resolve data issues for the enterprise data warehouseWhen necessary will creates source to target mapping documents to capture additional application data elements for loading from source systems into the enterprise data warehouseCollaborates with ETL team to ensure that source to target mappings are correctly translated into ETL code and that ETL code operates in line with STM requirementsPerforms data validation to confirm data is moved into the data warehouse correctlyAs a Production Support Data Analyst, this role works with reporting teams to assist them in understanding any reported variances between the data warehouse and source system applications
Required Skills : * BS in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics * 3 years of data analysis experience for a data warehouse * 2 years of P and C Insurance subject matter experience (Policy and Claims) * Advanced SQL knowledge * Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL and BI Architectures, concepts, and frameworks * Capable of creating and tuning Semantic layer Reporting Views * Capable of facilitating data discovery sessions involving business subject matter experts * Knowledge of RDBMS platforms (e.g., SQL Server, DB2) with experience in generating DDL * Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claims Center, SAP FS-RI and SAP FS-CD applications and their data is a huge plus * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
