We are seeking a skilled and experienced I&C Data Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in a variety of settings, including clean room environments, production spaces, and greenfield projects. The Electrical Journeyman will ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations and is completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Install electrical and instrumentation systems on construction sites according to design specifications and blueprintsLay out, install, and terminate conduit, wiring, and instrumentation devices during constructionEnsure compliance with construction safety protocols (e.g., lockout/tagout, PPE) and industry regulationsInterpret electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and layout drawings to execute precise system installationsAssist with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections, ensuring all I&E work meets project standardsPlan and execute routing and placement of instrumentation and electrical wiring to meet project timelinesInstall and integrate control panels and junction boxes in various industrial and commercial construction environmentsEnsure proper grounding and bonding of electrical systems in compliance with construction codesTroubleshoot installation issues related to power distribution, control wiring, and instrumentation loopsRequirements

In-depth knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and industry regulationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure construction environmentsWillingness to travel or relocate as needed for construction project assignmentsPhysical ability to perform tasks in a construction setting, including lifting heavy equipment and working at heights or in confined spacesAbility to work safely in industrial environments, following lockout/tagout and other safety proceduresEffective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other trades, supervisors, and engineering teams
