The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions. In this role, the senior software engineer is expected to carry a passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities and mentoring other members of the engineering community. A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience and proficiency in Java, Python, Node js and microservices2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud serviceFamiliarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern libraries and frameworks such as React, Angular etcPreferred Qualifications:Experience developing microservices and cloud native apps using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework JPA (Java Persistence API) (Or any other ORM), Spring Security and similar tech stacks (Open source and proprietary)Experience working with Unit testing using framework such as Junit, Mockito, JBehaveAbility to build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins etc. as part of CI/CD processExperience working in an Agile-based development environmentExperience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similarExperience with AI/ML technologiesContributions to open-source projects or involvement in developer communitiesCertifications in relevant technologies or methodologiesStrong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challengesSkilled in working effectively across different teams and departments, building strong relationships and driving collective successEducation:Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)Pay Range:The typical pay range for this role is: $101,970.00 - $203,940.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
