Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
As we grow, supervisory roles may be available
Benefits & Scheduling:
$18.50 - $20 per hour (paid bi-weekly)10-hour shifts are typically and start at approximately 10:15 AM dailyStep Van drivers earn an additional $10 per step van route.4-day workweek (40 hours) is typicalA minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal breakOpportunity for performance incentives and bonusesNext Mile Education opportunities. You can receive up to $5250 per year in tuition assistance with little to no out of pocket expenses. Tuition Reimbursement Program also available (Eligibility begins after 90 days)Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance401k with matching employer contributionsPaid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employmentKey Duties & Responsibilities:
Successfully handle and deliver packages on timeSafely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policiesProvide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditionsKeep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locationsCommunicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completedUse smartphone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team membersLoad and unload packages in delivery vehicleSupport the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routesRequirements:
Must be at least 21 years oldMust hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's licenseAuthorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a 5-Panel Drug ScreeningMust have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skillsDOT Medical Card and additional training required to operate Step VansEquipment Provided:
