Note: This position requires working on W2 Only.Job Description:Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our company's network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of network systems.Network Design and Implementation:Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure network architectures.Implement and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.Ensure network performance through monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting.Security:Implement and manage security measures to protect network integrity, confidentiality, and availability.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes.Prepare reports on network performance, incidents, and projects for management review.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with other IT professionals, including systems administrators, security experts, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of network services.Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain network-related issues and solutions.Proficiency with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and software.Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.Knowledge of security practices and tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.Additional Skills:L3 & L4 capabilities - senior engineer with cross functional knowledge that can guide a team through troubleshooting process end to endCheck connectivity across various endpointsInfrastructure as Code - pipelines & automation25% in architecture and collaboration75% in troubleshooting, design, buildWorks in lock step with network architectProficiency with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and software.Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.Knowledge of security practices and tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
