Psychology/Behavioral/Mental Health - Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) - Focused Therapy Specialist

San Francisco Bay AreaPosition:

32 Hours/WeekKey Responsibilities:

Conduct mental health assessments, diagnose psychiatric conditions, and develop treatment plans.Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.Participate in staff conferences to evaluate and plan treatment programs.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to evaluate patients for psychotropic medications.Maintain confidential records, prepare treatment plans, and document patient progress.Provide consultation to other care providers and health educators.May supervise trainees or post-masters fellows as needed.Participate in program development and evaluation efforts.Utilize community and public resources to assist in patient treatment.Qualifications:

Education:

PsyD in Clinical PsychologyLicensure:

California Psychologist License requiredExperience:

Experience with DSM-V diagnosis, psychological testing, and psychotherapy. Must be eligible to see Medicare patientsSkills:

Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy; familiarity with Evidence-Based Practice and research methods; knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health.Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations.Previous experience with administering psychological tests and writing assessment batteries.Experience treating eating disorders is a plus.Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:

$114,700 – $128,095 per year.Sign-On Bonus:

Potential for up to $10,000.Benefits:
