Senior Manager Finance, Global Markets
The Senior Manager, Finance sits within the EG Brands Division and will support the Global Markets, closely partner with the Global Markets business leadership teams, and work with EG Brands and other Finance teams.
This role will deliver high-quality global financial analysis, trading and trending understanding and recommendations, provide strategic insights to the business, and partner with the teams to ensure accurate financial forecasting and business decision support. This role will report into the Director, Finance, EG Brands.
What you'll do:
Constantly drive for improved visibility into Global Market performance via insightful management reporting and analysis
Optimize both the quantity and the quality of financial reporting on an ongoing basis, always looking for opportunities for application enhancement and automation
Partner closely with Global Market business teams, Expedia Brands Finance teams, and other Finance groups to understand performance, make recommendations, and ensure reporting alignment and consistency
Craft the Global Market financial/commercial "story"
Develop deep understanding of transactions drivers and guide P&L shaping and balance of short-term and long-term results to ensure delivery of the brand’s strategic goals
Ensure achievement of Global Markets financial targets and plans and recommend actions, as necessary
Lead topical ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to improve the collective understanding of risks and opportunities related to these issues
Lead weekly and other periodic trading meetings and efforts
Build automated & standardized detailed variance analyses
Analyze results (e.g., identify opportunities, site efficiencies & profitability profiles)
Who you are:
Extremely organized autonomous leader with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight timelines
Strong strategic and tactical business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision making
Ability to lead and influence decisions across various internal functions
Demonstrated understanding of financials and budgeting processes
Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences
Prior full P&L management experience
6+ years of Financial/FP&A experience
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
