A prominent full-service law firm is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will work on labor and employment law matters, providing exceptional legal counsel to clients while gaining exposure to a wide range of cases. The role is based in California, with a preference for applicants located in the San Francisco area.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation on a variety of labor and employment law matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and more.Draft and review legal documents such as motions, briefs, pleadings, and other relevant materials.Conduct legal research and stay updated on labor and employment law regulations and case law.Represent clients in litigation, including depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.Advise clients on compliance with employment laws and help develop effective employment policies and procedures.Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to provide comprehensive legal strategies and solutions.Assist with dispute resolution and provide guidance on labor negotiations and contracts.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law.Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills.Prior litigation experience, including drafting and managing legal documents, is essential.Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines.Proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to handle a high volume of cases with attention to detail and professionalism.In-depth understanding of federal and state labor and employment laws.
