CNC Machinist

As the CNC Setup Machinist you would be responsible for the setup of CNC machining centers efficiently and effectively for multiple machining and cutting operation on various materials.

Shift: 2nd (Monday through Friday 230 pm to 11pm)
Training: 1st shift for up to 4 weeks (Monday through Friday 6am to 230pm)
Wage

$22 to $25 based on experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Efficient and timely setup and operation of CNC Mills.
• Ensures proper tooling is loaded into tool holders.
• Load programs and make adjustments as needed to produce quality part (i.e. speeds, feeds, depth of cut, chamfers, etc.).
• Set fixtures, tooling and vises required to produce parts.
• Review work orders and prints.
• Ensure raw materials are available and correct for the part to be produced.
• Run prouction runs on CNC Mill efficiently and accurately.

Skills/Qualifications

• 3 years' experience setting up CNC machines
• Understands basic shop math, able to read prints, and edit programs using G&M codes.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
