Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year
A bit about us:We are a regional public accounting firm with all levels of positions open from Associate --> Manager --> Sr. Manager --> Director in both Tax and Audit departments. We are hybrid (2-3 days in office) and offer excellent benefits and work/life balance.

Our firm is on the hunt for a dynamic, and detail-oriented professional like yourself to join our team. This is a permanent position - we have all levels available from Associate, Manager, Sr. Manager, Supervisor, and Director.
Is your background a match?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
- Active CPA
- 4+ years of experience in tax OR audit roles at a public accounting firm
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations OR audit procedures and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax and audit issues
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax and audit information to non-finance professionals
- Proficient with tax /audit software
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What will you be doing?
- Oversee all tax / audit-related activities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profitability
- Perform regular audits to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process from planning to completion
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and represent the company during tax audits
- Provide guidance and support to the management team on tax-related matters
- Stay updated on current tax and audit regulations and ensure the company's practices are in line with these changes
- Lead and mentor a team of tax and audit professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
