Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated MEP Superintendent specializing in Fit Out Data Center Construction to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems for our data center fit-out projects. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile, large-scale data center construction projects. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

As an MEP Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Supervising and coordinating the installation of all MEP systems, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project design.
  2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that all MEP designs align with the overall project goals.
  3. Overseeing the fit-out process, ensuring that all data center equipment is properly installed and functional.
  4. Regularly inspecting and evaluating the performance of all MEP systems, identifying any potential issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
  5. Ensuring that all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  6. Coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard of quality.
  7. Utilizing your knowledge of low voltage systems and Starline power distribution solutions in the design and implementation of data center infrastructure.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically with commercial fit-out construction.
  2. Proven experience with data center construction and fit-out processes.
  3. Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  4. Proficiency with low voltage systems and Starline power distribution solutions.
  5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
  7. A strong commitment to health and safety, with a proven track record of promoting safe work practices.
  8. Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
