Job Summary

Perform chemical analysis/laboratory testing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, in-process materials, finished products, and stability materials per established methods.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Conduct chemical analysis on raw materials, finished goods, stability, and R&D samples.

Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.

Review test data, calculations, and results for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and review or update Standard Operating Procedures as assigned. Interpret USP or other compendia methods.

Identify malfunctions in laboratory equipment and advise supervisor or perform simple repairs.

Perform OOS, Deviation, and CAPA investigations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline.

Experience applying knowledge of analytical equipment and testing (HPLC, GC auto-titrator, FTIR, and compendia testing).

Experience with HPLC or GC.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline.

At least 1 years of experience working in pharmaceutical laboratory analysis.
