We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accountant to join our robust finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial health of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a solid background in accounting and finance, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to immerse themselves in all aspects of our business. The Consulting Accountant will be responsible for a range of activities including financial planning, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of our financial operations, including the preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, including risk management policies and investment strategies.
• Manage payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies and irregularities.
• Provide expert financial advice and recommendations to senior management to help them make well-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
• Stay updated with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in payroll management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
• Proficiency with accounting software, databases, and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors.
