We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and dynamic Permanent Associate Attorney with a strong background in Family Law to join our fast-paced legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a team of seasoned professionals and contribute to high-profile cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload independently, but will also collaborate with other attorneys on complex legal issues. You will be expected to deliver top-quality legal services to our clients, uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics, and uphold our firm’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, domestic violence, pre-and post-nuptial agreements, and other related issues.
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and options.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and pleadings with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating zealously on their behalf.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and related regulations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Proven trial experience and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Passion for providing superior legal services and dedication to client satisfaction.
