Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/18/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Birth Center Shift : Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week Length : 13 weeks Weekend rotation: Every other, but can be variable based on need Requirements: WA License 3 years minimum experience, 5 preferred (2 years for traditional traveler) High acuity experience: labor management and delivery of high risk OB patients, ability to triage OB patients, circulate in OR, cervical checks, reading/interpreting fetal monitoring strips Preceptor and EPIC experience required for CAP BLS Intermediate FHM (AWHONN) NRP Other Details: Will accept a first-time traveler upon review Floating: Antepartum, postpartum, areas within scope and experience Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines: 1:1 active labor 1:2 non-active laboring 1:2-3 antepartum, dependent on acuity Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC (required for preceptor) IV pumps: Alaris Medication dispensing: Pyxis Monitors: Fetal Surveillance, Centricity/Qx; CPN- required?
