**Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Acuity Adaptable**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum 18 months, 1 year in telemetry required**License:** IN or compact license required for start dates 2-4 weeks out; for start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the licensing process**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS required**Must-Have:** Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, ability to titrate cardiac drips, telemetry skills
**Job Description:**
- Work in a Progressive Care/Med-Surg unit that specializes in nephrology, wounds, sepsis, and other medical conditions.- All private rooms equipped with overhead lifts and Phillips bedside monitors in every room.- Collaborate within a great team environment and work alongside Patient Care Assistants who support nurses.- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-5.- Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.- Floating is mandatory within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital.- The unit accepts first-time travelers.- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.- Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
